19c's bases are designed from descriptions and specifications as listed in the National Association of Base Ball Players rules from 1857 through 1859, the annual Beadle's Dime Base-Ball Player guides and De Witt's Base Ball Guide, from 1860–1877. Available photographs were also used to construct the bases. A single button and a liberal overlap on material allows for the substance used to fill the base remain contained.
Bases are 12” x 12’ and each is supplied with a 1½” wide black belt.

Available photographs were also used to construct the bases. A single button and a liberal overlap on material allows for the substance used to fill the base remain contained.
